Well - our first venture at Tania's was a great success! Thank you to
Tom and his staff for making us Diva's feel right at home - the Tapa's
were fantastic (especially the coconut shrimp!)

Donya Fiske from the Heart and Stroke Foundation brought her noise
makers and her energy to launch our Diva Big Bike Ride on May 24 at 5
pm. We still need more seats to fill up our bike - so please contact me
to get your pledge forms and more details - watch for a separate e-mail
dedicated to The Big Bike!
The entertainment of the evening was supplied by
Saturna Island Family Estate Winery.
Thank you to Michael and Shane for delighting our taste buds with their
fine wines.
We sampled the Pinot Gris (amazing!)
Unoaked Chardonnay (for Chardonnay lovers - very good!)

Pinot Noir
All 4 wines were fantastic!
Michael and Shane have invited us on September 15 to the "Saturna Island
Winery Harvest Celebration"
They have a live band / food booths set up from many of the Gulf Islands
top notch restaurants - Of course wine from Saturna Island Vineyards and
as well, beer from the Gulf Island Brewery (Saltspring).
Events: Pie and jello eating contests, sack races, 3-legged races,
famous tug of war, and their famous grape stomp relay race!
Plus, enjoy ongoing wine tastes and their gift shop.
Transportation to and from the ferry terminal is provided.
In fact Michael and Shane have invited us to tent over night at the
vineyards if we want!

June 8 - Friday - is our Dragon Boat wind up - it will be from 6-8:30 pm
- then we will go to The Lighthouse Pub Patio for a celebration after
